How every bottle of MemoHoney is made

The 30-second read

MemoHoney is manufactured in the United States at an FDA-registered contract facility that operates under current Good Manufacturing Practice. Raw materials are identity-tested on arrival, the blend is assayed for potency, and finished lots are cleared by an independent laboratory for heavy metals and microbial contamination before a single bottle ships. We publish the standards we hold ourselves to rather than certificate numbers we would have to ask you to take on faith.

From raw material to sealed bottle

  1. Sourcing. Each MemoHoney ingredient is bought to a written specification: species, extract ratio where relevant, particle size and allowable residue limits. Suppliers ship with a certificate of analysis attached to the lot.
  2. Intake testing. Nothing goes into a blend on the strength of paperwork alone. The facility confirms identity on arrival, and material that fails is quarantined and returned.
  3. Blending. The amino acids, niacin, calcium and botanicals are blended to a fixed order and mixing time so each capsule carries the same load. Blend uniformity is sampled across the batch.
  4. Encapsulation. The blend is filled into hypromellose capsules, which are plant-based rather than gelatin. Fill weight is monitored continuously and out-of-tolerance capsules are rejected in line.
  5. Independent release testing. A sample from every finished lot goes to a third-party laboratory for potency and contaminant screening. The lot stays on hold until it clears.
  6. Bottling and sealing. Thirty capsules per bottle, induction sealed, dated, and packed into plain outer cartons for shipping from our Idaho warehouse.

What gets tested, and why

Identity

Every incoming raw material is confirmed to be what the supplier says it is before it can enter a blend.

Potency

Finished lots are assayed so the amino acid amounts printed on the MemoHoney panel are the amounts in the capsule.

Heavy metals

Lots are screened for lead, arsenic, cadmium and mercury against California Proposition 65 thresholds.

Microbials

Total plate count, yeast, mould, E. coli and salmonella are all tested before release.

Allergens

The line is verified clean for gluten and dairy between runs.

Seal and fill

Every bottle is induction sealed and weight-checked, and any bottle outside tolerance is pulled.

Why a capsule and not a gummy or a powder

MemoHoney could have been a gummy. Gummies sell well, and we looked at it seriously. Two things stopped us. A gummy needs sugar or a sugar alcohol to hold its shape, which is an odd thing to hand an audience whose average age is over 55. And a gummy has a smaller payload, so the 640 mg of amino acids in a MemoHoney capsule would have become two or three gummies a day at a lower total dose.

A powder was the other option and it fails a different test. Powders are the honest way to deliver large amino acid doses, but they demand a scoop, a shaker and a taste you have to make peace with every morning. Adherence data across the whole supplement category is brutally simple: the harder a product is to take, the sooner the tub goes to the back of a cupboard. A single capsule, swallowed with the water already in your hand, is the format most likely to still be in use in week eight, which is exactly when this formula starts being worth judging.

What we will not pretend

MemoHoney is made in an FDA-registered facility. That phrase means the plant is on the FDA's register and is subject to inspection. It does not mean the FDA approved MemoHoney, inspected your specific bottle, or endorsed anything on this website. No supplement can claim that, and any brand that implies otherwise is telling you something untrue.

We also do not publish lot certificates on this site. We hold them, our facility holds them, and if you have a specific question about the lot you received, call (208) 314-0192 with the code from the bottle and we will answer it. What we will not do is print an official-looking table of numbers you have no way to verify.
